In September 2006, Lee and Wes decided that they
had spent enough time in the city and it was time for a change.
So, in December they left their jobs and moved to Bright to take over
an existing business. Unfortunately, the deal fell through at the last
minute leaving Lee and Wes with a lot of spare time… this was soon
to change.
After looking at other businesses for sale, Wes’ sister suggested they set
up a children’s play centre in Myrlteford, Wes’ home town. After a lot of
market research they decided Wodonga would be a better place to set up shop,
so to speak.
The next step was to find a suitable location, and surprisingly, there were
not a lot of vacant warehouses to choose from. Eventually they decided on
7 Bradford Street and on May 1, 2 weeks after the birth of their second child,
they took over the lease. From that point on, there was little time for rest
as an empty shed turned into what you see today in a matter of months.
